Is the free version really free?
Yes. The free plan is permanently free and requires no registration. The limit of 5 API requests per IP per day only applies to automated requests via the REST API.
How do I activate a paid plan?
Click “Get Starter” or “Get Business” on the pricing page — you'll be taken to your Digi Soft Hub account to complete checkout with Stripe or PayPal. Your API key is activated with the new limit right afterward, no manual setup needed. For custom terms above Business, feel free to contact us via the form.
Is there an API key for the free plan?
No, the free plan does not require an API key. For Starter and Business with a dedicated key and higher limits, please contact us.
What payment methods are accepted?
Credit card via Stripe or PayPal — both handled directly in the self-service checkout in your Digi Soft Hub account, fully automatic and active immediately.
What happens if I go over the free plan's request limit?
The free plan allows 5 requests per IP address per day against the REST API. Once you reach that limit, further requests return an HTTP 429 error until the counter resets at midnight UTC. If you consistently need more, contact us about the Starter or Business plan.
Can I cancel a paid plan at any time?
Yes. Cancel your plan yourself anytime in the Digi Soft Hub under “Billing” — the cancellation is sent straight to Stripe or PayPal, no need to contact us. The free plan itself never needs cancelling since it has no ongoing charge at all.
Is there a bulk/batch API for validating many IBANs at once?
Yes — the Starter plan includes a Bulk API on top of the standard per-request REST endpoints (validate, BIC lookup, bank search) available on every plan, so you can validate many IBANs in one call instead of one request per IBAN. Contact us to have it set up.
Do I need a credit card to use the free plan?
No. The free plan works immediately with no signup, credit card, or payment details at all. For Starter or Business, you pay by credit card via Stripe or PayPal directly in the self-service checkout in your Digi Soft Hub account.
